Okay you've really messed up here =/

Sand Attunement; Armour Penetration?... :S look at the Air line, almost all of those Spells are Armour penetration so surely that should be the Air one? For Earth a nice one would be maybe "A spell cannot do less that 20-30% of its base damage" (e.g. the damage could be reduced by shielding hands or protective spirit but this mod's alow's you to override that if it takes you under 30%, so you still at least do alittle damage).

Also Diamond Attunement is still useless, you may aswell just customise a weapon for the same effect, I feel my suggestion of +5 base & max damage is alot more fun. ^^

Miss Attunement; 50% chance to miss when casting O_O that's alittle overpowered don't you think since an Ele can spent minutes casting if they manage their energy, possibly reduce that alittle to maybe 30% or some such?

Waterfall Attunement; That's still alittle low I think, say I crit for 100dmg (yes very nice indeed) but the splash will only deal 15dmg... how sucky is that? Make it 20-25% or something.

Scorch Attunement; 5Seconds of Burning? :S That's a damn long time.. I mean look at the Ele spell [wiki]Immolate[/wiki] that causes burning for only 3seconds =/ I think 2seconds on this mod would be fair since even if it's only 2seconds it'd still cause alot of damage due to the degen.

Dragon Fire Attunement; As for this.. hmm, I’d say my idea would be something along the lines of [wiki]Glyph of Immolation[/wiki] In weapon form, or "Increases the effect of your Area of Effect spells by 1" Although that'd be insane o.o hehe, Possibly "a 20% chance that +20% of the base damage of this spell is added to your next/current spell" or some such, possibly... (dare i say it) like the talent tree of a fire mage from WoW. "Your fire spell's cause the target to burn for an additional 8% of your spell's damage over 4seconds" So maybe adapt this to be "20% chance that your fire spell's will cause an additional 10% damage" or "20% chance your fire spell's will cause an additional 2-3 seconds of burning (ontop of any other)"
not 100% sure on most of them.. But Anyway, hope this helps

As you idea basically promotes grind over skill (if you have a lot of time to grind the cost of your weapon attuning, you will be more powerful than the average joe), i'm against.
Grinding should only gives you rare skins and fancy weapons.

Not a bad idea, just needs to be balanced. Some of these things are slightly wrong in the sense of GW mechanics.... like air would be armour penetration, ....and +1hp regen(unconditional) is definatley overpowered...

An interesting idea, i can see it being implemented into GW2, but i doubt we'll see it in GW1

uhm, in my verson the attunement upgrades are no own special upgrades, that get be upgrades to the upgrades that are still forged to the weapon. so something like this:

will not exists, because the 2 attunements will be the prefix and Suffix Upgrades ... when put on Black Shadow and evil Darkness, thna u can't upgrade ur weapon further ....

its like as when you upgrade your sword with a simple Heat Blade, then you weapon has a prefix upgrade on and can't have something more as prefix ...
========

With Dark damage I meant Shadow Damage, also i meant with Light damage holy damage -.-
I wrotet only in "Elements", for me are Shadows, Holy and Chaos no elements of nature.
Natural Elementals are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light and Dark, first 4 of them core elements.
Normally you could split these 6 up further to 8, by Water and Wind splitting them to Water/ Ice and Wind/ Thunder.
And why ? because Ice has an other elemental structure as Water and Thunder (Lightnings) have only indirect something to do with Wind, have also an other elemental structure as Wind, through massive temperature changigns and ionics which are molocyls, absolutely other elements, then simple wind which is only oxyds in very quick motion, so that we can feel them on our skin.
So theoretically, we must talk of 8 elements, not 4, but we talk of 4 ever only of the core elements.

To come to the point: i find it stupid, that only upgrades exists of the 4 core elements, there should be at least also upgrades for light (holy) and dark (shadow) damage and thats why i wrote also some examples for those 2 elements.

I know that the names of the weapons in GW sound absolutely silly through this prefix/suffix system, i personally would also find it best, for GW 2 ,wehn Players could forge(craft) their own weapons and name then their weapon self.
Would make much more fun, to have real individual weapons which have their own names and callings ...
A reason why this prefix/suffix system is silly i mentioned in an example at the Fire attunement example sword ...

Eternal Dragonfire Celestial Sword of Burning Passion is simple grammatical incorretc, but so would the name look in the end by GW's prefix/suffix- system atm that don't cares for grammatical correctness

Correct would be this > Eternal Celestial Dragonfire Sword of burning Passion ...

When more than 1 prefix is in an namen, then they have to be listed after another, not to be mixed in another, what will result only in a weird looking grammatical incorrect name.

there you can see, how silly this prefix system is, because it won't recognize ingame, when its better, to arrange words in the name, for a better and correct spelling of the item.

No amount of editing though will really improve this idea to those who are against it. Its not just that we don't like the names or the affects your weapons have, it is that the very concept itself is flawed in this game.
